How Academy lessons, practical work, sources and knowledge certificates are designed and maintained.

What the Academy teaches

Our curriculum connects recruitment practice, evidence, data, technology and commercial judgement. Five pathways contain 48 courses and a self-directed capstone within the practitioner pathway. Lessons use original explanations, fictional scenarios, exercises and self-review guidance.

Evidence and references

Course pages link to professional and official sources for further reading. References do not imply endorsement. Original scenarios and numerical examples are illustrative, not research findings or client results. Publication dates identify the content edition, not independent expert approval.

Assessment and certificates

Each assessed course has five scenario-based knowledge questions. Learners mark all lessons complete and score at least 80% to earn an Academy certificate. These are unproctored knowledge checks. Exercises and capstone portfolios are self-directed and are not independently graded. Certificates are not externally accredited qualifications, permission to practise a regulated activity or acceptance into a Vitae partnership.

Keeping material current

Each course carries an edition and update date. Changes to regulation, professional guidance, technology or identified errors should trigger review of affected lessons, references and assessments. Follow current official guidance for real decisions and obtain appropriate specialist advice where needed. No independent subject-matter review is claimed for this edition.
